When designing your workout space, keep in mind that bodyweight exercises and exercises involving heavy equipment such as weight benches, stationary bikes, or treadmills may require different types of mats or padding. Please note that natural rubber tiles such as these may have a residual aroma from the manufacturing process; this is normal and will fade over time. We recommend allowing the tiles to rest in the open air until the aroma fades. After installation, allow some time for the interlocking seams to settle into place with light use, resulting in a smooth rubber surface.
